National Museum Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is a must see in Madrid. There you can appreciate numerous works of the most important artists of the 20th Century. Almudena Cathedral, Madrid

The Almudena Cathedral is a beautiful building that took over 100 years to be built. This cathedral in Madrid was consecrated by Pope John Paul II in 1993. Its address is Calle de Bailen N/N.

As it is known, this cathedral that has an eclectic 19th century design was named after the Virgen de la Almudena. It is an imposing building with a magnificent interior. It has a Neo-Gothic style and there you can see beautiful chapels and statues that were made by contemporary artists. There is also an image of the Virgen de la Almudena that is of the 16th century.
There are some other attractions close to the Almudena Cathedral such as: Festival Otoo, Real Monasterio de la Encarnación, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. You can also find wonderful hotels in Madrid that are close to the Almudena Cathedral such as Tryp Ambassador Hotel and Emperador Hotel.

The Palacio de Cristal, Madrid

This outstanding establishment is located in the Parque del Buen Retiro, which is one of the most important tourist attractions in Madrid. The Palacio de Cristal is relatively close to the Prado Museum and other attractions of this tourist destination in Spain. Its address is Paseo Duque de Fernán Núñez N/N.

The Palacio de Cristal in Madrid is the creation of Ricardo Velázquez Bosco and it is inspired by the British building of the same name that is located in London.
There are temporary exhibitions in the Palacio de Cristal. Admission to this wonderful building is free. It must be said that Ricardo Velázquez Bosco also designed the Minig building in the Parque del Buen Retiro.

Galeria 57 in Madrid

Galeria 57 in Madrid is an interesting site where you can see beautiful works of art. There are great paintings, sculptures and photographs, too. It is an important gallery in this tourist destination in Spain where the admission to it is free.

Casa de Campo, Madrid

There are many places to visit in Madrid and Casa de Campo is definitively one of the most beautiful and interesting ones. It is an urban park of more than 1700hectares where you can enjoy different activities such as mountain biking, walking and others.casa-de-campo-madrid.jpg
There you can also visit the Madrid Zoo and the Parque de attraciones de Madrid, which are also located inside Casa de Campo. Tourists usually ride the cable car called Teleférico which runs from this park to another one and gives you the possibility to enjoy great views of various attractions such as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace.
You can take great pictures in Casa de Campo and you shouldn’t miss the chance to enjoy its boating lake where you will see the wildlife in Madrid. It is said that there are great restaurants in this park and that there are excellent hotels close to Casa de Campo such as the Ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Hotel.
It must be said that Casa de Campo is highly visited by locals as well as tourists of all ages, it is also for children who will love this park since there are many things to do and great activities for them. Casa de Campo is definitively one of the main, if not the most important one, amusement park in Madrid, which is a fantastic tourist destination in Spain.
I assumed that there are at least bilingual personnel in this park, however, you can sign up for intensive Spanish certified courses to learn this widely spoken language.
