Visiting Madrid Weblog / Aranjuez, Madrid

Aranjuez is a Royal town located in the southern part of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, which is one of the most important tourist destinations of Spain. Tourists who visit this town don’t miss the chance to visit the Palacio Real de Aranjuez where they admire its architecture as well as its large gardens.

Surfing the net, I have realized that the most important industries in this town refer to hotels and tourism since they are intrinsically related and Aranjuez, which is also famous because of its strawberries and was declared World Heritage Cultural Landscape by UNESCO, not only offers various attractions but also great landscapes.
There are wonderful hotels, restaurants and pubs that offer various entertainment options in Aranjuez but tourists usually go to the Tagus River where they enjoy practicing different sports such as canoeing. Other adventurers prefer skydiving in this town. You can also enjoy having dinner in the picnic areas next to the Tagus river.
There are other great attractions in Aranjuez such as: Isle Garden, pleasure craft Museum, Alpajes Church, House of Infantes and Atarfe, Isabella ll’s Garden, Prince’s Garden and Royal country Estate of Saint Isidro, among many others. Some locals recommend tourists to rent a car in Aranjuez in AranRent (91 925 132 067) or BeSmart (91 801 15 91), both are very good car rental companies. Remember that small shops as well as companies in Aranjuez usually don’t have multilingual personnel but you can sign p for intensive Spanish certified courses before visiting this destination.
