Visiting Madrid Weblog / Business in Spain: Palacio de Congresos de Madrid

This building is the result of the decision taken in the early seventies to make Madrid a centre of conventions and congresses.
The building has stood on the Paseo de la Castellana since then, opposite the Real Madrid football stadium. The large mosaic of its façade, by Juan Miró, is particularly worthy of note. It continues to be Spain´s first conference venue. Source: esmadrid
