Bringing the main works of 20th-century chamber music to the interest of a broader public is the mission which is occupying the music experts convened by the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Centre for Fine Art) and the National Commemoration Society .
Bela Bartok, Igor Stravinsky, Manuel de Falla, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel are some of the composers included in this fascinating course, in which you can select the classes according to your interests.
Until the end of November, there will be a total of almost a dozen concerts structured in such a way as to emphasise their instructive value: a brief theoretical presentation with multimedia support will be followed by live musical examples by the Plural Ensemble, one of today’s leading specialist ensembles.

Within everyone’s reach
Fabián Panisello, recognised composer, director of the Reina Sofía School of Music and leader of the Plural Ensemble, will show us how to enter the fascinating repertoire of 20th-century chamber music. But this is not the only initiative designed to help reveal what is for many the undiscovered world of classical music.
In addition to this project, the Madrid Region Orchestra and Choir and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra invite us to learn more about classical music thanks to their regular concerts, known by the generic title of Musical Cycles, until the end of the season. Leer Mas
