There are many places to visit in Madrid and Casa de Campo is definitively one of the most beautiful and interesting ones. It is an urban park of more than 1700hectares where you can enjoy different activities such as mountain biking, walking and others.
There you can also visit the Madrid Zoo and the Parque de attraciones de Madrid, which are also located inside Casa de Campo. Tourists usually ride the cable car called Teleférico which runs from this park to another one and gives you the possibility to enjoy great views of various attractions such as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace.
You can take great pictures in Casa de Campo and you shouldn’t miss the chance to enjoy its boating lake where you will see the wildlife in Madrid. It is said that there are great restaurants in this park and that there are excellent hotels close to Casa de Campo such as the Ibis Madrid Aeropuerto Hotel.
It must be said that Casa de Campo is highly visited by locals as well as tourists of all ages, it is also for children who will love this park since there are many things to do and great activities for them. Casa de Campo is definitively one of the main, if not the most important one, amusement park in Madrid, which is a fantastic tourist destination in Spain.
I assumed that there are at least bilingual personnel in this park, however, you can sign up for intensive Spanish certified courses to learn this widely spoken language.

The Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid is definitively one of the most visited sites by tourists and locals in the city since it is not just beautiful but also close to other attractions such as the Prado Museum.

This eight hectare botanical garden on the Paseo del Prado was founded in 1755. At present, the garden is divided into three wonderful sections and two excellent greenhouses. There you can see a wide variety of plants, flowers and trees. Its sections are: Terraza de los Cuadros, Terraza de las Escuelas Botánicas and Terraza del Plano de la Flor. There is also a library in this garden.
The entrance fee is approximately 2 € for adults and 1 € for children but if you go in a group of ten people the entrance fee will be 0,50 € per person. It must be said that this garden also houses a botanical research center and a herbarium. Its address is Plaza de Murillo Nº 2.
There are pleasant hotels close to the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid such as NH Nacional Hotel and Lope de Vega Hotel.

The Puerta del Sol in Madrid is one of the most visited places in this wonderful tourist destination of Spain. Probably it is the busiest place in Madrid that has an outstanding commercial area in the old town.

As the famous encyclopaedia (Wikipedia) claims “it is the centre of the radial network of Spanish roads†and one of the tourist attraction in Madrid that is widely admired there is the well known clock, which has the bells that mark the eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of the New Year.
Tourists who visit this incredible site also visit the old Post Office that is, at present, used as the centre of government for the Madrid Community and the statue of Charles III of Spain.
The Puerta del Sol in Madrid is in the heart of Madrid. It is close to Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, the Thyssen-Bornemisza museum and Prado museum. There are also hotels in Madrid that are relatively close to the Puerta del Sol such as Regente Hotel, Best Western Hotel Atlantico, Hotel de las Letras H&R and Best Western Hotel Carlos V.Tourists generally choose Hotel Gran Versalles although it is not close to Puerta del Sol. It is a wonderful four star hotel in Madrid.
Remember that you will find numerous tourists in Madrid that speak different languages that is why it is always a good idea to do intensive Spanish certified courses so that you can learn this widely spoken language.

Buen Retiro Park is probably the most important park in Madrid. It is known as the Jardines del Buen Retiro or the lungs of Madrid. This fantastic park that is located in the heart of the city center has many sculptures, monuments and a wonderful lake to enjoy a very nice day outdoor.

This is one of the main attractions in Madrid since in this park there are usually different important events. One of the most admired features of the Buen Retiro Park is its imposing artificial pond, Estanque del Retiro. It is usually recommended to walk around the Rosaleda rose garden where there are beautiful roses and there is the Fountain of the Falling Angel that has an outstanding sculpture, El Angel CaÃdo.
A famous walk in the Buen Retiro Park is known as Paseo de las Estatuas that is the Paseo de la Argetnina. You should also walk around the different galleries, Casa de Vacas, Palacio de Cristal and Palacio de Velásquez.
Visit Madrid that is a wonderful tourist destination in Spain and enjoy its tourist attractions. There are fabulous hotels in Madrid and some of them are near the Buen Retiro Park such as the Villa Real Hotel and the Adler Hotel.
Remember that as Spanish is one the official languages in Spain it is a good idea to do intensive Spanish certified courses to fully enjoy your vacation.

The Plaza Mayor is one beautiful attraction in Madrid that was built during the Habsburg period. It is a central plaza in the city of Madrid, which is a wonderful tourist destination in Spain. The Plaza Mayor is located close to another famous plaza, the Puerta del Sol. 
The Plaza Mayor is worth visiting since it is surrounded by three-story residential buildings having 237 balconies facing this site. You can appreciate its nine entranceways. In this beautiful place there are celebrations for San Isidro, who is the patron saint of Madrid, and it has a ring of shops and cafes under its porticoes that are widely visited by tourists and locals.
From the Plaza Mayor you can also appreciate the Casa de la PanaderÃa where many municipal and cultural events take place.
The name of the plaza changed many time; “Plaza del Arrabal“, “Plaza de la Constitución” and “Plaza de la República“. At present it remains its name “ Plaza Mayorâ€. You can rent a car in Madrid and go to this beautiful attraction, the plaza Mayor.
