Visiting Madrid Weblog / Madrid Tourism: The Mirror and the Mask. Portraiture in the Age of Picasso

Until May 20th, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Fundación Caja Madrid will be accommodating an exhibition that presents the evolution of portraiture throughout the last century. Organised in collaboration with the Kimbell Art Museum of Forth Worth (US), this is the first show to analyse this artistic genre in the 20th century, an age when the great portrait artist Pablo Picasso was very active.
