The Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid

The Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid is definitively one of the most visited sites by tourists and locals in the city since it is not just beautiful but also close to other attractions such as the Prado Museum.

This eight hectare botanical garden on the Paseo del Prado was founded in 1755. At present, the garden is divided into three wonderful sections and two excellent greenhouses. There you can see a wide variety of plants, flowers and trees. Its sections are: Terraza de los Cuadros, Terraza de las Escuelas Botánicas and Terraza del Plano de la Flor. There is also a library in this garden.
The entrance fee is approximately 2 € for adults and 1 € for children but if you go in a group of ten people the entrance fee will be 0,50 € per person. It must be said that this garden also houses a botanical research center and a herbarium. Its address is Plaza de Murillo Nº 2.

Surfing the net, I have found out that there are only two four star hotels in Aranjuez, Hotel Barceló Aranjuez and NH Principe de la Paz Hotel. Both establishments are strategically located in Madrid to ensure that you will spend a very good stay while enjoying high quality services.

Hotel Barceló Aranjuez gives you the possibility to enjoy your favourite sport at its wonderful 18-hole golf course and if you want to do other outdoor activities you can go fishing or hunting relatively close to the hotel. Aranjuez, Madrid

Aranjuez is a Royal town located in the southern part of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, which is one of the most important tourist destinations of Spain. Tourists who visit this town don’t miss the chance to visit the Palacio Real de Aranjuez where they admire its architecture as well as its large gardens.

Surfing the net, I have realized that the most important industries in this town refer to hotels and tourism since they are intrinsically related and Aranjuez, which is also famous because of its strawberries and was declared World Heritage Cultural Landscape by UNESCO, not only offers various attractions but also great landscapes.
There are wonderful hotels, restaurants and pubs that offer various entertainment options in Aranjuez but tourists usually go to the Tagus River where they enjoy practicing different sports such as canoeing. Other adventurers prefer skydiving in this town. You can also enjoy having dinner in the picnic areas next to the Tagus river.

Tourists who visit Madrid usually choose to stay in hotels close to the Barajas airport and since Alcobendas, which is an interesting city just 13 kilometres away from Madrid, is a very good option. Tourism in Alcobendas, Madrid

Alcobendas is a beautiful city located in the Community of Madrid, one outstanding tourist destination in Spain. This city is just 7 kilometres away from the Barajas airport but13 kilometres away from Madrid. Tourism in Alcobendas is not very lively but, it this city has many things to offer.

There is a central urban zone but the natural reserve zone is a must see as well as Valdelacasa, which is a high-tech area. The Cosmocaixa sciences museum is also worth seen since it is a modern museum that also has an interactive sector for kids.
If you are in Alcobendas you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit: FIBA Hall of Fame, the Diversia entertainment center and the Municipal Museum of Bonsai of Alcobendas. You can also visit the only one golf course in this city.
There are also excellent restaurants in Alcobendas where you can taste the gastronomy of Spain as well as international dishes. Many locals and tourists have claimed that Silk & Spice, Jumar 2 SL, Vega de levante and Isidro de Agueda Revilla are very good restaurants where you can enjoy delicious dishes and great atmosphere.
It must be said that parking in Alcobendas is not often an easy task in some districts such as in the Casco district. However, public transport in Alcobendas are usually efficient.
We would like to remind you that Spanish is the official language in Madrid and it is a good idea to sign up for intensive Spanish certified courses to speak this language without difficulty. However, you have also the possibility to travel to Argentina where you can learn Spanish while enjoying wonderful activites such as climbing Mount Aconcagua,the highest mountain in the Americas.
