Being designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, the towers are named Torres Kio since they were commissioned by Kuwaut Investment Office in 1996. But, years later KIO sold these buildings because of the Torres KIO fraud case.
The Puerta de Europa towers are mentioned in a satanic comedy film in which interesting things about them are said.
They are close to Atudem and Pabellón de hielo. Added to this, you will also find great hotels near the Puerta de Europa towers such as Silken Puerta Castilla Hotel, Abba Castilla Plaza Hotel and Melia Castilla.
