Although he is one of the most important figures in the history of painting, for different reasons Jacopo Tintoretto´s work has hardly been exhibited. To correct this “injustice”, the Prado Museum has carried out an intense research that culminates in this long-awaited monographic exhibition (the first in the world dedicated to the Venetian artist since 1937), a detailed itinerary around the work of the artist defined as “the most terrible brain to ever work with painting”.
