The Palacio de Cristal in Madrid is the creation of Ricardo Velázquez Bosco and it is inspired by the British building of the same name that is located in London.
There are temporary exhibitions in the Palacio de Cristal. Admission to this wonderful building is free. It must be said that Ricardo Velázquez Bosco also designed the Minig building in the Parque del Buen Retiro.
If you have time, you should also visit the church of San Sebastian, the Royal Botanical Garden and Puerta del Sol, which are other beautiful attractions that this city has to offer. There are also pleasant hotels close to the Palacio de Cristal such as Hotel Reina Victoria, Hotel Westin Palace and Hotel Villa Real.
It is advisable to book a hotel in advance. Make sure that the hotel you have chosen has multilingual or at least bilingual personnel or sign up for intensive Spanish certified courses before you visit Madrid or any Spanish speaking destination.
